Naglieri General Ability Tests for Kindergarten Students
Per the Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirement, all kindergarten students are considered potential candidates for gifted/talented and other advanced-level services. Rockwall ISD will administer aptitude tests to all kindergarteners during the school day from January 26 to February 6, 2026.

Our Pre-K Rangers had the best day ever picking out their pumpkins and learning all about what’s inside. A huge shoutout to Neighborhood Walmart on Rusk for donating pumpkins for our little learners! We’re so thankful for our amazing community that helps us grow bright minds every day.

What an amazing night! We loved seeing our Rochell families and students come together to celebrate learning and creativity. Thank you to all who donated candy for our kiddos! We love these special moments that bring our Rochell family together.

Rochell kindergarteners recently investigated if bubbles will take the shape of different bubble wands or if they would blow out round. They learned no matter the shape or size of the wand the bubbles always blow out round!

The Rochell Library was transformed into the Rochell Book Bistro. Students learned about different fiction genres by enjoying a 5 course meal of Mystery, Science Fiction, Realistic Fiction, Fantasy and Historical Fiction books.

Rockwall Heath High School Senior, Cooper Clanton, played Taps for the students and staff at Rochell Elementary to commemorate a moment of silence to remember those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001 in New York City, a field in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, and at the Pentagon in Washington D.C.
