VATRE & Bond 2024
The Rockwall ISD proposals before voters are two parts of a long-range plan. The bond will allow for more schools to be built. The VATRE will allow Rockwall ISD to increase compensation for educators, fund state requirements, including unfunded state mandates and allow the District to hire more teachers to meet the growing enrollment.
District Announces New Amanda Rochell Elementary School Principal
She has 25 years of experience in education, and began as a bilingual teacher at Amanda Rochell Elementary.
Naglieri Ability Test
All 2nd and 4th Grade students will be administered the Naglieri General Ability Tests (NGAT) between September 24 and September 27, 2024. This assessment measures general ability using verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal questions. You can find more detailed information regarding the NGAT in the following letters.

Rochell Elementary celebrated Grandparents Week September 9-13. Grandparents were invited to come eat lunch with their grandchildren all week and enjoy creating special memories together.

We are fully in the swing of things on campus, with so much learning taking place in every classroom. Our learners are discovering new favorite books in our beautiful library, collaborating in math stations, authoring stories, enjoying our outdoor learning space, and more!

Tonight we formed the Amanda Rochell PTO and elected officers. We were excited to have so many parents attend our initial meeting! More information about our Amanda Rochell PTO to come!

Rochell Principal, Paige White, meets with 6th graders in the courtyard for a Lunch & Learn to discuss what it means to be a leader. The courtyard is just one place students are enjoying at Rochell Elementary's beautiful, brand-new campus.
