The Rochell Rangers kicked off their basketball season hosting Dobbs Elementary on Thursday, January 30th.
Congratulations to Rochell 5th Grader, Serenity M., on placing runner-up at the Rockwall County Spelling Bee on Monday, January 27th!
Students at Rochell Elementary participated in the annual Rochell Spelling Bee on Monday, December 16th.
Agatha D. was 6th grade Player of the Week! She had the highest amount of Dojo points for the grade level! Congratulations Agatha!
Corgan Architects, the architecture firm that designed the new Rochell Elementary building, spent the morning of November 14th on campus taking pictures of the beautiful new building. A few students were chosen to be a part of the experience.
On Veterans Day, Rochell students recognized and expressed gratitude to the valiant men and women who have defended our nation and preserved our way of life, especially those within our staff, their families, and our broader school community who have served.
On Thursday, October 24, Rochell hosted its annual family literacy night event. Students walked around the school dressed in their Halloween costumes trick-or-treating while their teachers dressed up as storybook characters and handed out candy and literacy activities. The book fair was also open late for families.
The Week of October 29-November1, Rochell Elementary observed Red Ribbon Week and pledged to be DRUG FREE!
Rochell Elementary celebrated Grandparents Week September 9-13. Grandparents were invited to come eat lunch with their grandchildren all week and enjoy creating special memories together.
We are fully in the swing of things on campus, with so much learning taking place in every classroom. Our learners are discovering new favorite books in our beautiful library, collaborating in math stations, authoring stories, enjoying our outdoor learning space, and more!

More than $32,000 in innovative teaching grants were awarded to District educators for the 2024-2025 school year through the Rockwall ISD Education Foundation (REF).
